Rossco probably more than any other shirt manufacturer continued to submit various designs for approval prior to a change of kit design. Both these examples are shirts which were put before the Glentoran board and management in the run up to the 2004/2005 season. Both were to be used as away shirts and the first bears a striking resemblence to the kit which finally made the grade.
The second submission that season was a first for the Glens using horizontal red and black pin stripes over a fairly plain white shirt. Maybe if one of the stripes had been green then this one would have made the grade. As it stands both were consigned to the design room floor, only re-appearing on an internet auction site, after Glentoran's contract with Rossco had terminated.
