A shirt discovered after the publication of the book.  A very good copy of this Glentoran team photograph recently unearthed means that it is possible to pick up the outline of a badge of some description on this plain green woollen jersey. There appears to be either a gryphon or heraldic lion above the football on a very large ornate shield. The collar on this kit is also different to any other previous shirt as it appears to have the red on the outside and some black trim on the inside. This jersey would seem to announce a return to the predominantly plain kit design of the club’s inception in an era of hoops. A remarkable photograph of a legendary Glentoran team has allowed us to add this design to the archive.
