Another great start for another impressive shirt. The 2011 Kukri home shirt ironically made itís debut away from home against Linfield at Windsor Park again in the Carling Premier League and again made a dream start as Glentoran shook off an eleven year hoodoo of being unable to secure a league win at Windsor in that time. Glentoran midfielder Ciaran Martin scored the only goal of the game in a battling display against the sides arch rivals. This design, produced along with Glentoranís other Kukri shirts was created by one of the companyís designers Keith Jolley and is totally unlike any shirt the club has worn before. Retaining all the constituent features this seasonís home shirt is yet another modern stylish design. Possibly two of the best shirts we have ever had. Worn with white shorts and green socks it also carries tidy embellishments such as alternating red and black cuff trim. Initial reports are that sales of both home and away shirts have been brisk with a new range of training gear arriving towards the end of September 2011.
