On the 17th July 2010 as part of Glentoran forward Michael Halliday’s testimonial season Glentoran took to the field wearing this shirt in a game against Scottish side Livingston. The players match worn shirts were auctioned off as part of the celebrations after the game. This predominantly green Umbro design was initially selected for use in a tour by the club to Thailand in the 2010 close season however civil disturbance in the country forced the club on the advice of the British Foreign office to cancel the tour. It did however see the light of day in this game which ended in a 1-1 draw. Michael a magnificent servant to the club departed from the Oval, signing for North Belfast side Crusaders at the beginning of this campaign.
